In Prativero (Biella), Piedmont, we will visit “Vitale Barberis Canonico 1663”, the oldest mill producing woolen textiles for men's apparel. Currently, the company more than eleven million square meters of fabric per year, 80 percent of which is exported all over the world, and it has become a point of reference for exclusive bespoke tailors, where true gentlemen commission their outfits. We'll be welcomed by Francesco Barberis Canonico, Creative Director, and Lino Ieluzzi, style and taste designer, textile expert and ambassador of Made in Italy, considered one the world's hundred most elegant men. He has been the subject of numerous articles in the leading men's magazines, such as Dandy, The Rake and Monsieur.

2013 marked the 350th anniversary of the company's wool mill activities, allowing it to become a member of Les Hénokiens, an international association that brings together family-run companies that have been active for at least two centuries.

The tour will continue on to Lugano for the evening, and we will spend the night at the Hotel Villa Principe Leopoldo, a princely residence with a stunning view of the lake.

For the second leg of our tour, we will travel to Valpolicella, outside Verona, driving across a marvelous landscape of hillsides sculpted by vineyards. This area is famous worldwide for its red wines: Amarone, Recioto, Valpolicella.

Next up, an experience that will involve all our senses. For two nights, our accommodation will be at the Byblos Art Hotel Villa Amistà, a contemporary art gallery with more than 120 works on exhibit. Brilliant colors and striking forms stand out against the frescoes and marble that adorn the seventeenth century halls, creating a unique
and exclusive ambiance. The permanent collection features works by prominent international artists and designers, such as Ron Arad, Philippe Starck, Marcel Wanders, Ettore Sottsass, Eero Saarinen, Eero Aarnio and many others.

We will then experience firsthand all the charm, warmth and poetry of an opening night at the Opera: Bizet's Carmen, in the incomparable setting and atmosphere of the Arena di Verona.

The third leg of the tour is dedicated to “percorso del bello e del buono”; we will drive from the Veneto to the Trentino region, where we will visit a winery whose sparkling wine is a world favorite, “Ferrari – Trento 1902”, owned by the Lunelli family. In 2017 the winery won the coveted “Sparkling wine producer of the year” award at the
“Champagne & Sparkling Wine World Championships”.
The itinerary continues with a private tour of Villa Margon, which dates back to the first half of the 1500s, after which our palates will be delighted by the creations of twostarred Michelin Chef Alfio Ghezzi, of the “Locanda Margon” restaurant.
