Giovanni Monchiero

The Monchiero family has been hunting the white truffles of Alba and training truffle hounds – “tabui” - for four generations now. The University of Truffle Hounds, founded in 1880, was officially recognized in 1935, at the Alba White Truffle Fair, by Count Gastone di Mirafiori, president of the Truffle Fair from 1930/1940.

Distillerie Berta

Four generations ago, in 1866, Berta distilled its first grappa in Casalotto di Mombaruzzo.

It all began with Paolo Berta, who, thanks to his experience working in the area's wineries, decided to begin making grappa and spirits that were different from the standard products.

Cantine Contratto

Giuseppe Contratto founded his winery in 1867, when he began vinifying moscato from Monferrato, producing one of the first Italian sparkling wines refermented in the bottle. During this same time the Contratto family began building its historic cellars, that would finally be finished in the beginning of the 20th century.

Museo Alfa Romeo

Inaugurated on June 24, 2015 on the occasion of the world premiere presentation of the new Giulia model, the museum collection includes the most important models in the history of the Alfa Romeo brand, initially gathered together in the early sixties.
