17 - 18 June 2017
Lombardy - Tuscany

Day one will start with a private visit to the Zagato headquarters; a historically famous Italian Automotive and Design company, specialised in the production of bodywork. Founded in 1919 by Ugo Zagato, Zagato have designed many of the most beautiful sports cars during the last century, currently a point of contention among collectors and enthusiasts, demanding millionaire prices. The collaboration between Aston Martin and Zagato, born in 1960, has led to the creation of some of the most unforgettable limited editions, from the first DB4 GTZ to the most recent, Vanquish Zagato Concept.

During our visit to Milan, the international capital city of Design and Fashion, we will have time to visit the Duomo, Il Corso and the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, or wander through the narrow streets of the enchanting artistic district of Brera. Not forgetting to dedicate some time to the exclusive shopping on offer in the famous fashion quarter “via Montenapoleone”, full of the top names in the fashion and luxury industry.

Next we move on from Lombardy to Tuscany, crossing Emilia Romagna, to the elegant and exclusive tourist sea resort of Forte dei Marmi (Lucca).

During our trip we will stop in Parma and Soragna to visit the Museum of Parmigiano Reggiano; we will discover how the prestigious Italian cheese so renowned and appreciated all over the world due to its unique characteristics, has been made for over a thousand years.

The road that leads us to Forte dei Marmi is one of the most beautiful in Italy. We will travel the 108.5 km of the “Cisa” motorway, following the twists and bends, descents and long straights loved by all driving enthusiasts. Built almost entirely on over the top of the Appennino Tosco-Emiliano, it represents a wonderful example of Italian engineering. Unleashing the horse power of our top performance Aston Martins along this road will be exhilarating and allow us to truly test the performance and handling characteristics.

In the Tuscan hinterland, the Apuane Alps, we will visit the white Carrara marble quarries, home to the most prestigious marble in the world. Words cannot describe the excitement that the quarry arouses, with its stone masses that have historically created works of art that leave us speechless such as the Renaissance sculptures of “Davide” and “La Pietà” by Michelangelo Buonarroti who personally came to the quarry to choose only the best quality stone in the area.

In 2008 these quarries, the very same roads that we will be driving during our trip, were the first scenes filmed from the film “Quantum of Solace” during which secret agent 007 James Bond drove the renowned Aston Martin DBS.

Forte dei Marmi is famous for its elegance and aristocracy as well as for the exclusive and beautiful beaches of the Versilia. The town centre is full of the most prestigious luxury fashion brands so much so it is famed for having created a “cultural phenomenon” at the beginning of the 20th century, starting new trends, inspiring magazines and providing content for some of the most eagerly read fashion blogs
