28 - 31 March 2019
Lombardy - Tuscany

Being in Milan, the international capital of Fashion and Design, it is mandatory to spend an hour or two visiting the Duomo cathedral, Corso Vittorio Emanuele II and the Galleria, and maybe enjoy a short stroll through the narrow streets of Brera, the charming artists' quarter. Or else, why not do some high end shopping in the famous “quadrilateral of fashion”, where one can find the most important names in fashion and luxury retail.

The museum itinerary winds past the 69 car models that have had the greatest impact, not only on the brand's development, but on automotive history itself.
On the first day, the program begins with a private tour of the “La Macchina del Tempo – Museo storico Alfa Romeo”. The museum's displays underscore the traits that mark the identity of Alfa Romeo's DNA, embodied by a luminous installation that crosses the building from top to bottom: lights, words and symbols of style that come to life in a display that descends as it winds on itself, illustrating stylistic and technological continuity over time.
The tour then proceeds from Lombardy to Tuscany, passing through the Emilia Romagna region to reach the exclusive seaside town of Forte dei Marmi, a prime tourist destination in the province of Lucca.

There will be a stop outside Parma, famous for its gourmet delicacies and for its most celebrated native son, the venerated opera composer Giuseppe Verdi. Here we will find out how the classic and prestigious Italian cheese, Parmigiano Reggiano, appreciated the world over for its inimitable quality, has been made for over a thousand years. And our palates will also be treated to tastes of the King of cured meats, Culatello di Zibello, aged for different periods of time.

The road we will travel to get to Forte dei Marmi is one of the most beautiful in all of Italy. We will motor through all 108.5 km of the Autostrada della Cisa, a favorite with all those who enjoy driving, thanks to its series of turns and slopes alternating with long straightaways. Built almost entirely on viaducts that pass through the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines, it is a splendid example of Italian engineering skill. It will be thrilling to let the engines of our highperformance vehicles show what they are made of on this stretch, letting us appreciate their excellent dynamic performance characteristics.

On the Alpi Apuane, in Tuscany, we'll visit the quarries of white Carrara marble, one of the most precious marble varieties in the world. There are no words to describe the feeling that overtakes you when you're standing in the pit, looking at the huge slabs from which were sculpted the famous works of art that leave you open-mouthed in wonder: Michelangelo Buonarroti's David and his Pietà were born here, and the marble chosen by the artist himself, who would personally select the best blocks on location.
